สยามเบียร์
Origin
Siam Beer is a local beer produced in Thailand, first brewed in the late 20th century by a beverage company aiming to meet domestic market demands. Inspired by European beers, its recipe was adjusted to suit Thai tastes, particularly in the northern and central regions where people favor refreshing, well-balanced drinks.
Characteristics and Flavor
Siam Beer has a light yellow to copper color, with fine and long-lasting bubbles. It offers a slightly sweet, mildly bitter and subtly salty taste, making it ideal for pairing with spicy Thai dishes or fried foods. Alcohol content is approximately 4.5%.
Ingredients
Main ingredients include brown rice, corn, water, yeast, and hops (flowers of a certain plant). No preservatives are added.
Serving Method
Serve very cold (0–4°C) in a tall beer glass. Best enjoyed with Thai cuisine such as tom yum goong or grilled chicken, or even with sticky rice and grilled pork skewers.
